Speaker:

Sal Terranova has been with Charlotte Pipe & Foundry for the past 12 years as the Field Technical Service Representative serving the North Atlantic region of the United States. His responsibilities include educating the engineering community as to the best installation practices and materials for all DWV and Storm piping applications. He has delivered multiple accredited presentations at industry organizational meetings, and individual Engineering offices.  Sal is based out of his regional office in Milford, CT. He has over 29 years of experience in both the HVAC and Plumbing industry. Sal has held positions in Consulting Engineering, Contracting, and as a Manufacturer’s Representative prior to joining Charlotte Pipe & Foundry in 2014.

Technical Topic:

This will be a short presentation outlining, “What is a Starter Fitting”. Anatomy of a starter fitting, Benefits, and applications. We then will break into two groups and install a bathroom group using the starter fitting.

Starter Fittings allow for single or back to back placement of water closets and other fixtures in vertical multi-story applications.
